2024 Five Points Juried Printmaking Exhibition

Five Points grew out of the Torrington Arts and Culture Commission’s 2012 initiative, Art Space Torrington, a temporary 840 square foot summer storefront gallery located in the heart of Torrington’s historic downtown district. The success of the summer initiative led to the founding of Five Points Gallery, a permanent non-profit 501(c)(3) visual arts organization dedicated to the belief that contemporary art is a vital component of human understanding. -Five Points Arts

The artists’ reception will be held on June 2nd from 1:00 to 4:00.

"Art of Food"

“The Art of Food is an exhibition exploring the intersection of food, art, and culture in a rich and universal theme. Food offers a viewpoint through which we can express human creativity, history, and traditions through the essence of nourishment. Consider the culinary arts and how various cultures use food as symbols in their meals. From decadent deserts, fast food, and homecooked dinners, imagine food as a medium for social commentary conveyed through the language of food. Ask yourself, are we what we eat?” -The Chateau Gallery

This is an online exhibition, to view work visit The Chateau Gallery: Art of Food
