ABOUT

Braeden Baston is a printmaker originally from Wells, Maine but currently resides and works in the greater Boston area of Massachusetts. They favor relief printmaking, using linoleum, but also experiments with silk screen and monotype processes. They graduated with their BFA in Fine Arts at Lesley University in 2023 and plans to continue their academic career in the future. Baston has exhibited work across New England and the United States and regularly participates in artists markets in the Greater Boston area. Outside of their personal body of work, they work as a printmaking studio technician at Shepherd & Maudsleigh in West Newton, MA while also teaching their own beginner level linocut workshops at The Batchyard in Everett, MA. Baston is a current member of the New Hampshire Arts Association.
